Leslie Wei was born in Boulder, Colorado. As a child, she enjoyed horseback riding, playing the piano, and rock climbing. She went on to major in Visual Arts at Brown University in Providence, RI, where she also cultivated an interest in pocket billiards, fencing, and international travel. She is about to graduate from Brown Medical School and is looking forward to becoming a resident at the University of Colorado Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute in July 2010.
