About the Presenter:
Born 1968 in Bochum. Studied medicine at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany, 1987-1993. Doctoral thesis on retinal detachment and Retinoschisis.Training in ophthalmology from 1994 - 1998 in Bad Hersfeld, Germany (PD Dr. Werner Hütz). Special interest in cataract & refractive surgery since then. Individual "hobbies": biometry, IOL calculation, refraction.
