Since 2007 David Goldblum acts as the head of anterior segment at the department of Ophthalmology University Hospital Basel. After medical school at the University Basel and Zurich he finished his residency at the Universy-Eye-clinic _(Inselspital) in Bern followed by a fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. 2002 and 2004 several months of training in oculoplastic surgery at the Fondation Rothschild, Paris and in lacrimal and orbital surgery at the Moorfields Eye Hospital, London followed.
