Medical Degree: Padua 1976. Residency in Ophthalmology: Verona 1980. Director of the Ophthalmic Unit, Hospital of Verona, Italy. Specialized in Anterior segment surgery, Glaucoma, Refractive surgery. Professor of Anterior Segment Surgery, University of Verona, Italy. Clinical research on Phacoemulsification, Intraocular lenses, Optical aberrations of the eye. More than 200 published papers, lectures in 15 countries. A member of several scientific societies, currently he is secretary of the ESCRS.
