Syed S. Hasnain was born on February 10, 1941 in Sahiwal, Pakistan. He received his medical degree in 1963 from Nishtar Medical College, Multan, Pakistan. Dr. Hasnain completed his ophthalmology residency in the United Kingdom. He immigrated to the United States in 1974 and completed his fellowship in clinical ophthalmology at the University of Connecticut in 1976. He currently practices general ophthalmology in Porterville, California.
